The third and final yacht in Bilgin’s acclaimed 263 series is recognised for its evolved design, increased volume and exceptional onboard comfort.
Istanbul, Türkiye - 2 June 2026 - Bilgin Yachts is proud to announce that M/Y Al Reem has been named Winner in the Motor Yacht Over 60 Metres category at The Design et Al International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2026, hosted by design et al on Friday 29 May at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, Venice. Representing the project at the ceremony in Venice, Emrecan Özgün, Founder and CEO of Unique Yacht Design, attended the event to receive the award on behalf of the team. The recognition marks an important international milestone for Al Reem, the third and final yacht in Bilgin’s acclaimed 263 series.
“We are truly honoured to receive this recognition for M/Y Al Reem. As the most evolved expression of the Bilgin 263 series, Al Reem brings together strong exterior character, enhanced volume and a deeply refined onboard experience. This award is a proud moment for everyone who contributed to the project.” says Emrecan Özgün, Founder and CEO, Unique Yacht Design.
As the final and most highly customised unit of the trilogy, M/Y Al Reem stands as the most advanced evolution of the Bilgin 263 platform to date. Designed with exterior styling and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design, the 80-metre yacht combines greater interior volume, enhanced owner privacy and a more refined connection to the sea, while preserving the sleek and dynamic character that defines the series.
With 1,758 gross tonnes, Al Reem delivers substantially increased internal volume within the same 80-metre platform, while maintaining a strong and athletic exterior profile. The yacht’s redesigned superstructure, enlarged glazing and carefully balanced proportions create a sense of openness and livability without compromising visual impact.
Among her defining features is a reimagined layout centred on owner comfort and privacy. The relocation of the wheelhouse allowed for the creation of a remarkable forward-facing owner’s suite with expansive 300-degree views, direct access to an outdoor terrace and jacuzzi, and a stronger connection to the surrounding seascape. Larger glass panels in the main and upper deck living areas, extended aft deck spaces and a round glass lift further reinforce the yacht’s architectural clarity and seamless flow between interior and exterior living.
Internally known during development as Project Silence, Al Reem was engineered around a clear commitment to onboard serenity. Working with specialist acoustic consultants, Bilgin Yachts implemented advanced sound insulation, vibration reduction and filtration systems to minimise mechanical intrusion throughout the vessel. The result is a yacht shaped not only by visual sophistication, but also by an exceptional level of acoustic comfort and calm.
The interiors by H2 Yacht Design were conceived to reflect the owner’s preference for calmness, purity and understated elegance. A light, neutral palette runs throughout the yacht, combining matt timbers, cream leather, silk carpets, polished stainless steel and natural stone to create an atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming. This language of restraint continues into the lower-deck beach club, where the yacht’s wellness-oriented character is expressed through spaces designed for relaxation and direct contact with the sea.
With her bold profile, sophisticated spatial planning and highly resolved technical execution, M/Y Al Reem marks a confident and award-winning conclusion to Bilgin’s celebrated 80-metre trilogy.
This recognition from design et al underlines the strength of the collaboration between Bilgin Yachts, Unique Yacht Design, H2 Yacht Design and all project partners who contributed to bringing this exceptional yacht to life.
