OVERVIEW

Bilgin Yachts crowned the success of 263 series with the sale of the third unit in the beginning of 2022. The 80-meter Project Silence -to be delivered in 2023- will offer 20% larger volume as well as various technical improvements, additional features for greater comfort and autonomy at sea. The shipyard partners with Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design for naval architecture and exterior design, and H2 Yacht Design for the interior design and living areas as in the other hulls of the Bilgin 263 series.

Bilgin 263 yachts have sharp exterior lines and stylish interior areas offering a modern feeling. The extensive use of a contrasting combination of rich Macassar ebony, eucalyptus and plenty of marble creates a strong identity and luxurious feeling in the superyacht. Emrecan Ozgün, the CEO and the founder of the Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design describes the 263 series as follows: “With her design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one-of-a-kind. We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding high dosage design cliches. The increase in living areas normally results in bulky designs. The Bilgin 263 has a design attitude that will dominate the world’s yachting industry. This has clearly made her a trendsetter among steel-aluminum superyachts of today.” Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design expresses his feelings regarding the Project Silence as follows: “We are really pleased to be re-engaging with the craftsmen at Bilgin Yachts to design a beautiful new interior for their next 263, Project Silence. Building on our experience on our successfully launched Tatiana, we are developing a refreshed interior look and feel as well as uniquely redesigned layout. The interior will be light and modern, whilst remaining both luxurious and plush." 

Project Silence will be able to speed up to 19 knots with two 2,560 kW engines, while the cruising @ 12 knots keeps her fuel consumption at 280 l/h as her sistership Tatiana. What makes the new superyacht special is her optimized hull and decks. This third unit of the series offers technical improvements such as a new ventilation system and an increased generator capacity as well as 20% larger volume both in interior and exterior areas. Owner deck is located above the main deck for more privacy and the wheel house is on the top deck for better bridge visibility. The magnificent change is on the staircase located in the center of the hull and the large, round lift connecting the decks from bottom to top. The yacht has a longer upper deck and this offers extra covered area at the stern of the main deck while the swimming pool up there is a bit smaller compared to Tatiana’s.
