Istanbul, Türkiye - April, 2026 -  Bilgin Yachts is pleased to announce the sale of NB90, the second hull in its 53-metre platform, in collaboration with Edmiston. Acquired by an American client for charter use, the yacht is scheduled for delivery ahead of the 2028 season and is expected to cruise extensively in both American and European waters.

Built on Bilgin’s proven 53M platform, NB90 combines elegant proportions, strong technical foundations and a lifestyle-driven layout tailored to contemporary onboard living. Measuring 52.7 metres in length overall and remaining below the 500 GT threshold at 499 GT, the yacht has been developed to offer generous volumes, long-range capability and expansive outdoor areas within a highly efficient platform. Her exterior design and naval architecture are by Unique Yacht Design, while the interiors are penned by Hot Lab.

The sale marks an important milestone for Bilgin Yachts as its first new-build sales agreement with Edmiston. For the shipyard, the transaction reflects continued international confidence in Bilgin’s semi-custom expertise, while introducing a yacht conceived for active charter use and strong visibility across major cruising grounds.

“This is our first new-build sales agreement with Edmiston, and we are especially pleased to have completed it together with Hannah Wolstenholme, who worked on the project,” said Berkay Yılmaz, Commercial Director of Bilgin Yachts. “NB90 is being acquired as a charter yacht, which makes this sale particularly exciting for us. Edmiston has a strong track record in the successful management of charter yachts, and we believe this yacht will travel widely, be seen often, and become a highly visible yacht on the international scene. What makes this project particularly interesting is that the 53m platform was designed based on the advice of a highly experienced Bilgin owner and this second hull is benefitting from the feedback of experts in yacht charter management on top of that, leading to carefully considered refinements. We expect these developments will make NB90 a very well-thought-out and successful charter yacht.”

Representing the Buyer, Hannah Wolstenholme of Edmiston commented: “NB90 showcases the best of modern Turkish yacht building, combining Bilgin’s craftsmanship with refined design and engineering. Her striking exterior and meticulously detailed interiors deliver both elegance and performance, while an intelligently designed layout maximizes space, flow, and functionality. We are proud to have represented the Buyer in this transaction; the collaboration between the shipyard, project team, and client has been excellent throughout.”

The project also continues Bilgin Yachts’ close creative collaborations with Unique Yacht Design and Hot Lab, whose design approach reinforces NB90’s positioning as a contemporary, lifestyleoriented 53-metre charter yacht.

“With NB90, our goal is to bring the outdoor living qualities usually associated with larger yachts into a sub-500 GT platform, while preserving a sleek, modern and timeless profile,” said Emrecan Özgün, Founder of Unique Yacht Design. “The design focuses on maximizing the transition between indoor and outdoor life, creating a yacht that feels open, refined and highly usable for extended cruising and charter.”

On board, the yacht’s configuration is centered around ease of movement, comfort and social use, with exterior spaces designed to support life and leisure at sea. Generous open-air zones, including the sundeck, bridge deck and main deck aft, further strengthen the platform’s appeal for both private enjoyment and charter operation.

“The interior design of NB90 is shaped around a careful balance between architectural precision and softness, combining warm natural tones, refined materials and fluid geometries to create an atmosphere that feels both contemporary and timeless,” added Enrico Lumini, Partner and Design Director of Hot Lab. “Developed in close collaboration with Bilgin Yachts and the owner, the result is an elegant, tactile and sea-connected onboard experience.”

With a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of approximately 4,500 nautical miles at 10 knots, the Bilgin 53M platform is conceived for versatile international cruising. These characteristics make NB90 particularly well suited to an owner lifestyle spanning both sides of the Atlantic.

Bilgin has previously described its 53-metre platform as a masterful evolution of a proven concept, developed through the combined expertise of leading industry partners. In NB90, that vision evolves into a highly visible, design-led charter yacht shaped by experience, refined through collaboration and built for extensive international use.
