BILGIN YACHTS AT 2026 PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
The five-generation Turkish superyacht builder is set to make major announcements and revealthe largest Bilgin project to date, with 16 projects currently under construction. Istanbul, Turkiye - March 9, 2026 - Bilgin Yachts will exhibit at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show, held March 25–29 in West Palm Beach, Florida, where the shipyard will announce its largest project to date.
Exhibiting at Stand No. 5, the five-generation, family-run shipyard will unveil the largest project in Bilgin’s history, while presenting its strong order book of 16 yachts currently under construction across multiple platforms ranging from 50 to 120 meters.
The announcement marks a significant milestone for the Istanbul-based builder as it continues to expand its global footprint and strengthen relationships with owners, brokers, and industry partners across the Americas.
A Shipyard Powering Türkiye’s Superyacht Momentum
Türkiye continues to strengthen its position as a global superyacht construction hub. According to the 2026 Global Order Book, the country ranks second worldwide by total length of superyachts under construction, with 141 projects exceeding 8,300 meters in combined length, and third globally by gross tonnage. Bilgin Yachts remains at the forefront of this momentum, consistently delivering technically sophisticated yachts that combine Northern European engineering standards with Mediterranean craftsmanship.

The Evolution of the 80-Meter Series: A Legacy of Excellence
Bilgin's 80-meter Bilgin 263 series represents one of the yard's most celebrated achievements. The trilogy began with Tatiana in 2020, establishing the platform's reputation for refined displacement hull performance and expansive interior volumes. Leona, delivered in 2024, elevated the series with enhanced exterior styling that earned the Outstanding Exterior Design – Motor Yachts, 60m and Above award at the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards. The series culminated with Al Reem, completed in early 2026, which introduced a reimagined superstructure with refined deck proportions, and a "subtly moving gallery" interior concept featuring curated artwork throughout. Designed by Unique Yacht Design (exterior) and H2 Yacht Design (interior), each vessel in the trilogy demonstrates Bilgin's ability to deliver bespoke interpretations while maintaining proven platform reliability.
Flagship Projects: From Proven Series to Record-Breaking Builds
The Bilgin 170 series continues to reinforce the yard's reputation in the highly competitive 52- meter segment. With transatlantic capability, expansive interior volumes optimized at 499 GT, and meticulous detailing, these yachts demonstrate Bilgin's ability to execute semi-custom platforms with fully bespoke interiors. Recent sales momentum including Fraser's February 2026 sale of NB85 confirms strong market demand for the series.
At the same time, Bilgin continues to push into larger territory with the 73.6-meter Bilgin 243, a bold statement of contemporary naval architecture developed in collaboration with Unique Yacht Design and H2 Yacht Design. Featuring a steel hull, aluminum superstructure, and accommodations for 16 guests across seven cabins, the Bilgin 243 offers 5,000-nautical-mile range, ideal for transatlantic and extended cruising.
Across its 50-120 meter portfolio, Bilgin is placing increasing emphasis on advanced hull optimization for improved fuel efficiency and range, refined beach club and wellness concepts, enhanced owner’s deck configurations, greater integration of sustainable technologies and system upgrades.Strategic Expansion into the U.S. Market
Several new-build slots across Bilgin's larger platforms are currently available for 2027-2028 delivery, including on-spec opportunities that offer significantly reduced timelines compared to traditional custom builds. The shipyard's spec-build strategy, aligned with market trends showing 42% of Turkish projects starting on speculation, addresses growing demand for faster delivery without compromising customization options.
