Leona of Bilgin 263 series keeps getting awards and accolades, recently adding another prestigious honor to its collection. At The Design Et Al Elite Awards 2024, held on July 6, 2024, at the Grand Hotel Quisisana in Capri, Leona was honored in the Elite Design, Motor Yacht Over 40 Metres category.

The second design et al Elite Awards showcased an exclusive group of the world’s leading designers, with only a select number of previously shortlisted companies invited. This elite event brought together top professionals from superyacht design, private aviation, hotel design, and residential architecture, highlighting the most respected names in the global design industry. Leona’s recognition at this prestigious event underscores Bilgin Yachts' commitment to exceptional design and innovation. The award was presented to Emrecan Özgün, the Founder and CEO of Unique Yacht Design, during the ceremony, celebrating the meticulous craftsmanship and visionary design that define this remarkable vessel. “We are immensely proud of Leona’s recognition,” said Özgün. “This award highlights our commitment to perfection and our passion for crafting iconic vessels. Leona’s unique red and white color scheme, the refined mast design, and the carbon handrails all contribute to her exceptional aesthetic. Leona's crowning jewel is undoubtedly her beach club, seamlessly integrated with the main living area. Positioned on the lower deck and adjacent to the engine room, the beach club features a swimming pool measuring 8.7 x 3 x 1.4 meters with a voluminous 34,000-liter capacity, complete with a bespoke heating system and water jets for year-round enjoyment. Translucent glass sliding doors provide guests with stunning sea vistas, even during chilly weather, while leading to a tranquil wellness room and a cozy hookah retreat. Adding an artistic touch, the space is adorned with meticulously crafted reproductions of sculptures, including the iconic Aphrodite of Milos, welcoming bathers with grace.

The yacht has captivated the yachting world with her sleek, eco-friendly exterior and opulent interiors, a collaborative masterpiece by Unique Yacht Design and H2 Yacht Design. Making a stunning debut at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show and winning the the first place in the category “Outstanding Exterior Design - Motor Yachts, 60m and above” at the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards 2024, as well as “Motor Yacht Over 60 Metres” Award at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2024, she continues to set new benchmarks in luxury yachting.
