TATIANA ON THE WAY TO FRENCH RIVIERA
On September 11, Tatiana left the shores of Bosphorus to be in Monaco for the upcoming yacht show.
Bilgin Yachts is counting down the days to the world premiere of their largest superyacht Tatiana during the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show. After having her debut, the 80-meter yacht will be followed by two sister ships -the second and the third units of Bilgin 263 series- whose launches are to be in 2022 and 2023.
Built in accordance with IMO Tier III standards, Tatiana is the most environmentally friendly private yacht of Turkey, too. Her displacement hull form and naval architecture are created by the Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design, while the interior lines have the signature of H2 Yacht Design. According to Bilgin Yachts’ CEO İsmail Şengün, Tatiana is a reflection of the company’s today’s and future philosophy and belief in eco-friendly solutions for all its new builds.
Tatiana offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in eight cabins including an owner’s deck with a pretty large and private owner’s suite. With four guest cabins on the main deck and three VIP cabins on the lower deck, she has the utmost respect for the comfort of the guests. Leather in the interior living areas, high-quality marble on every wet floor, woods for the coatings, teak on the exterior floor and custom-made carpets inside add value to a yacht which can be described as home away from home. Not to mention that, the beach club stands out with its direct access from the main living room.
Jonny Horsfield of H2 Design Ltd personally took care of the interior details. He describes Tatiana as follows: “Tatiana has a contemporary layout with generous living rooms as well as a huge spa and beach club in the aft which are considered highlights of her design. We tried to bring a crisp and contemporary feel by using a rich palette of colors. Also, the exterior decks have a rich warm theme that completes this design approach. Overall, we are very proud to see a stunning interior that complements the modern lifestyle perfectly.”
One of the prominent features of the series is their being eco-friendly. Both Tatiana and her sister ships have SCR systems connected to the main engines and generators. Thanks to this feature as well as the IMO TIER III compliance, Tatiana has earned the right to cruise all around the world and anchor to very protected bays.
With 1,689 groston weight and steel-aluminum structure, the superyacht has a dynamic hull form. Emrecan Özgün, CEO and the Founder of Unique Yacht Design, describes the 263 series as follows: "With her design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one-of-a- kind. We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding a high dosage of design clichés. The increase in living areas normally results in bulky designs. The Bilgin 263 has a design attitude that will dominate the yachting sector around the world. This will clearly make her a trendsetter among steel-aluminum superyachts of today."
The series emphasizes eco-friendliness, featuring a special exhaust system that provides 100% clean air emissions. With two 2,560 kW engines, Tatiana can speed up to 19.3 knots, while the cruising speed 12 knots keeps her fuel consumption at 280 l/h. While the performance and comfort in the living areas will stay the same, the second unit of the series has a different interior design in terms of the use of colors and materials. Already being sold, the yacht has golden touches on the decks. On the other hand, the third unit of the series
steps forth with a more optimized hull and decks. Emrecan Özgün describes her as follows: “This unit offers technical improvements such as a new ventilation system and an increased generator capacity, the third unit also promises 20% larger volume both in interior and exterior areas. She will have a different layout than her predecessors. Owner deck is located above the main deck for more privacy and the wheel house is located on the top deck for better bridge visibility, while the staircase located in the center of the hull is larger than the
other units as well.”
The second hull of 263 series –which is already sold- is planned to be launched in 2022 and following that, the third hull of the model will be delivered to her owner in 2023. Bilgin Yachts also have a on spec 74-meter yacht planned to be delivered in 2023, while two on- spec 50-meter sister ships will be ready to splash the water at the end of the 2022.
