Bilgin Yachts sees a rise in customer attention as the highly anticipated release of the two 80-meter sister ships of Tatiana is now close. According to the shipyard, the second hull will be available in 2022 and the third in 2023.
THE CROWN JEWEL OF BILGIN FAMILY: BILGIN 263 SERIES
Following the launch of Tatiana in 2019, Bilgin Yachts took a big step into the world superyacht industry. The first unit of 263 series has gained the title of being the largest private yacht that has ever been built in Turkey.
For the 263 series, Bilgin Yachts partnered with Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design for naval architecture and exterior design, and H2 Yacht Design for the interior living areas. The yachts offer accommodation for up to 16 guests. Owner’s deck has a pretty large and private owner’s suite while there are four guest cabins on the main deck and three VIP cabins on the lower deck. Real leather in the interior living areas, high-quality marble on every wet floor, woods for the coatings, teak on the exterior floor and custom-made carpets inside add value to a yacht which can be described as home away from home. Not to mention that, the beach club stands out with its direct access from the main living room.
Jonny Horsfield of H2 Design Ltd personally took care of the interior details. He describes Tatiana as follows: “Tatiana has a contemporary layout with generous living rooms as well as a huge spa and beach club in the aft which are considered highlights of her design. We tried to bring a crisp and contemporary feel by using a rich palette of colors. Also, the exterior decks have a rich warm theme that completes this design approach. Overall, we are very proud to see a stunning interior that complements the modern lifestyle perfectly.”
One of the prominent features of the series is their being eco-friendly. Both Tatiana and her sister ships have SCR systems connected to the main engines and generators. Thanks to this feature as well as the IMO TIER III compliance, Tatiana has earned the right to cruise all around the world and anchor to very protected bays.
With 1,689 GRT weight and steel-aluminum structure, the superyacht have a dynamic hull
form. Emrecan Özgün, CEO and the Founder of Unique Yacht Design, describes the 263 series as follows: "With her design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one-of-a-kind. We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding a high dosage of design clichés. The increase in living areas normally results in bulky designs. The Bilgin 263 has a design attitude that will dominate the yachting sector around the world. This will clearly make her a trendsetter among steel-aluminium superyachts of today."
The series emphasizes eco-friendliness, featuring a special exhaust system that provides 100% clean air emissions. With two 2,560 kW engines, Tatiana can speed up to 19.3 knots, while the cruising speed 12 knots keeps her fuel consumption at 280 l/h. While the performance and comfort in the living areas will stay the same, the second unit of the series has a different interior design in terms of the use of colours and materials. Already being sold, the yacht has golden touches on the decks. On the other hand, the third unit of the series
The second hull of 263 series –which is already sold- is planned to be launched in 2022 and following that, the third hull of the model will be delivered to her owner in 2023. Bilgin Yachts also have a 74-meter yacht planned to be delivered in 2023, while two 50-meter sister ships will be ready to splash the water in 2022.
